The room at Kornholl in Hvolsvollur was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. I loved having a kitchen equipped with a fridge, oven, stovetop, and microwave, allowing me to cook my own meals. The bathrooms were modern and had refreshing showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. The rooms also had coffee/tea makers, perfect for enjoying a hot beverage in the morning. The blackout drapes/curtains helped me get a good night's sleep.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay at Kornholl Villa, located just minutes off the ring road. The property was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4, with high-quality furnishings and fittings throughout. We appreciated the proximity to the ring road, making it easy to explore the area. Key collection and communication with the hosts were seamless, and the house was clean and well-maintained. We especially loved having a kitchen and washing machine available during our vacation. This was our favorite accommodation of our trip, and we even had the chance to see the beautiful Northern lights outside the house.

Kitchen with all amenities: The cottage’s kitchen was well-equipped with a refrigerator, an oven, a stovetop, and a microwave. It had everything I needed to prepare a delicious meal, just like a seasoned chef!

Minor cleanliness issue: The only downside, which was really minor, was that the kitchen floor and shower area could have been a little cleaner. A little sparkle would have made it perfect.

Perfect location for exploring the southern part of the island. The house offers stunning views of the mountains. Comfortable beds and the use of a washer and dryer were a plus!

A lack of information on how to operate the TV and the waste separation system would have been helpful.
